The Parampara of this lineage of Siddha Guru’s is based on Jagat Guru Shankaracharya founded 10 schools of monks. The Parampara belongs to Ananda sect and practices Naishtik Brahmachari precepts. The Ista devata/devi is the 3 rd Vidya of the Dasa Mahavidya concept of Shakti known as Tripura Sundari. She is the presiding deity of Ashram’s and the object of each Brahmachari disciples personal Sadhana. Prikrama or paribrajan ( traveling with a vow for living on Alms when on the Parikrama) is one of the characteristics of the paramapara Offering of food or Prasad to Bhakta’s and feeding of the masses ( Bhandara) is also an important characteristics.
